Home Medical Equipment Salesperson
SUPERIOR Home Health Care Barrie has an immediate full-time opening for an experienced Home Medical Equipment Salesperson.
The successful candidate will be experienced in the sales of wheelchairs, scooters, lift chairs, bathroom safety equipment and other home medical equipment. The applicant should possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract (required as condition of employment), good communication skills, a working knowledge of ADP and will have experience in dealing with Therapists and Authorizers.
Consideration will be provided for un-experienced candidates on the following basis: a minimum of ten years experience as a sales professional with a proven track record of achievement along with a background of passion, enthusiasm, energy and empathy.

SUPERIOR Home Health Care Barrie has an immediate full time opening for an experienced Home Medical Equipment Service Technician, Level II.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years experience in the installation, maintenance and repair of electronic equipment such as wheelchairs, scooters, lift chairs, stairlifts, vertical platform lifts, ceiling lifts, floor lifters, etc. The applicant should possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract (required as condition of employment), good communication skills, a working knowledge of ADP and will have experience in dealing with Therapists and Authorizers.

Service Technician

Service Technician:
Your goal in this position is to provide high-quality, compassionate service to all of our clients. You know that a client’s independence, safety, and quality of life are often dependent on properly functioning mobility or home medical equipment.
Day to Day Duties:
- Diagnose, repair, assemble, and/or install all types of home medical products and equipment in store or on site locations
- Perform home and institutional service calls
- Demonstrate patience and compassion with our clients and fellow employees
- Assist with other departments in our store and general warehouse
- Operate fleet vehicles in a safe and courteous manner
- Follow all company safety protocol, policies, and procedures
Working at SUPERIOR Home Health Care:
This is a Full time permanent position and you will be working Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm.
You will be working both in shop and in client’s homes installing and repairing equipment such as stair lifts, exterior lifts, vehicle adaptations and repairing equipment like walkers, wheelchairs, and scooters. Specific Qualifications:
- Experience repairing and troubleshooting mechanical and electronic systems
- Skilled with your hands; soldering, mechanical, assembly, electronics modification, electronics troubleshooting, wiring, etc.
- Comfortable and knowledgeable with manual and power tools
- Construction skills is an asset with the ability to build decks and do minor framing
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Exceptional people skills and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer skills, internet and Microsoft office skill
- Physically fit and able to lift 50-80lbs
- Possess a valid Ontario Driver’s license with a clean record
- Previous work experience in the Home Medical Equipment industry is an asset
- The ability to establish good working relationships with Team Members, colleagues, and clients
- Friendly, positive attitude and the ability to have fun working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
